Overall Thoughts:

Bookcase.clubbookcase.clubThis box didn’t have any frills, it’s just a book box.  It came with 2 hard cover books and a Bookcase.club branded bookmark. The books were  Tiny Little Thing by Beatriz Williams and Water from my Heart by Charles Martin.  My first thought is that I don’t think I would qualify either of these as romance novels.  They may meet the criteria in the end, but they aren’t by authors who call themselves romance authors.  So when I order a romance subscription box I expect books by romance authors.  Over all the box was packaged nicely the books  are nice hard cover copies. However, I wouldn’t recommend this as a subscription box for romance lovers.  It’s just a book subscription box. If I were to try this again I would select the Blind Date Case, in hopes that paranormal romance gives me romance.

Blurbs:

Charles MartinGoodreadsCharlie Finn had to grow up fast, living alone by age sixteen. Highly intelligent, he earned a life-changing scholarship to Harvard, where he learned how to survive and thrive on the outskirts of privileged society. That skill served him well in the cutthroat business world, as it does in more lucrative but dangerous ventures he now operates off the coast of Miami. Charlie tries to separate relationships from work. But when his choices produce devastating consequences, he sets out to right wrongs, traveling to Central America where he will meet those who have paid for his actions, including a woman and her young daughter. Will their fated encounter present Charlie with a way to seek the redemption he thought was impossible–and free his heart to love one woman as he never knew he could?

Beatriz Williams

Goodreads

In the summer of 1966, Christina Hardcastle—“Tiny” to her illustrious family—stands on the brink of a breathtaking future. Of the three Schuyler sisters, she’s the one raised to marry a man destined for leadership, and with her elegance and impeccable style, she presents a perfect camera-ready image in the dawning age of television politics. Together she and her husband, Frank, make the ultimate power couple: intelligent, rich, and impossibly attractive. It seems nothing can stop Frank from rising to national office, and he’s got his sights set on a senate seat in November.

But as the season gets underway at the family estate on Cape Cod, three unwelcome visitors appear in Tiny’s perfect life: her volatile sister Pepper, an envelope containing incriminating photograph, and the intimidating figure of Frank’s cousin Vietnam-war hero Caspian, who knows more about Tiny’s rich inner life than anyone else. As she struggles to maintain the glossy façade on which the Hardcastle family’s ambitions are built, Tiny begins to suspect that Frank is hiding a reckless entanglement of his own…one that may unravel both her own ordered life and her husband’s promising career.
