This is the second in the Notorius Devils MC series by Hayley Faimen, and it is the story of Sniper/Bates and Bentlee. Bentlee you meet in the first book, since she is Kentlee's sister. Towards the end you see that she will probably be leaving her husband, but it's going to be messy. Knowing what we do about Bates and Bentlee from book 1 it was obvious that there story would be coming.

I was torn on this one. I really wanted to fall in love with this story after book 1 waxed poetic about how in love Bentlee and Bates had been, BUT with all the other things that happened. Man this one was hard. I really enjoyed the book, and didn't want to put it down. All that said I spent most of the time shaking my head at these two. I wanted them to be together, I wanted them to be in love, and yet life kept getting in the way. I hope this isn't the direction all of this series will go in. It's not uncommon for romance in general, but especially MC romance to be this frustrating. I just hope Hayley gives me one couple in this series who doesn't make me want to scream at them a little bit for being stupid.

author about

I was born and raised in a small farming town in California. I met my husband when I was 16 and he was 19. We married four years later and have two little boys! We lived in Oregon for a few years while he served in the US Coast Guard.

Texas is now where we call home, where our boots rest, and where we’re raising our two little boys and a chocolate lab named Optimus Prime.
